What Not to
Plant Together

And Why It Matters in Life, Too.

Some things can grow perfectly good on their own and still be wrong beside each other.

Plants teach us that. Life does too.

What if the reason you're struggling to grow isn't because something is wrong with you, but because it's time to examine what's growing inside OR beside you?

THIS ISN'T JUST ABOUT PLANTS

Your Life Is a Garden.

In a garden, certain plants compete for resources. Some attract the same pests. Some crowd each other's roots. Others can quietly inhibit one another's growth.

The same thing can happen with relationships, environments, habits, expectations and the things we continue giving access to our lives.

I Learned That Environment Matters.

For me, the garden has never been just about plants.

Part of my story includes finding the courage to leave a cult and begin the deeply personal journey of rediscovering who I was outside of what I had been taught to believe.

I had to examine what had been planted in me, what I believed, what I had accepted as normal and who I was when those things were no longer defining my life.

That's when the language of the garden began to mean something completely different.

SOIL ROOTS WEEDS PRUNING SEASONS BOUNDARIES UPROOTING BLOOMING

Today, as a gardener, author, speaker and guide, I use the lessons of the garden to encourage women to look differently at what surrounds them, what they've been taught to nurture and what they want to grow from here.

You are allowed to examine what's been planted. You are allowed to choose what you continue to water. And you are allowed to bloom more than once.
